In the month of July 2009 a full day activity took place at La Salamora organized by the Project of Responsible Production for the Ministry of Cattle. Agriculture and Fishing of Uruguay, GEF and World Bank where several projects were presented. The assistance was very good and the weather was perfect for the field visit. . These activities are periodically organized in order to learn about the advances in the different projects to protect the biodiversity that Uruguay is carrying out.
